The FIG World Trampoline Gymnastics Championships are just around the corner, so it’s time to start planning who you will be supporting at the event. To help get you started, we’ve compiled a list of ones to watch out for.

DYLAN SCHMIDT

New Zealand
Trampoline

At the 2020 Summer Olympics, Dylan made history by securing bronze, making him Zealand’s first Olympic medallist in gymnastics.

HIKARU MORI

Japan
Trampoline

Hikaru became the first trampoline gymnast representing Japan to win an individual gold medal at the world championships by claiming victory in the women’s individual event in 2019.

BRYONY PAGE

Trampoline

At the 2016 Olympic Games, Bryony produced the performance of her lifetime, firstly qualifying for the trampoline final, and then producing an incredible routine to take home Olympic silver.

ETHAN MCGUINNESS

Tumbling


In 2022, Ethan broke the World Record for most difficult routine at the World Cup in Italy and finished the year becoming Australia’s first Tumbling World Champion.

ZHU XUEYING

Trampoline


Zhu became the first trampoline gymnast to win a gold medal at both the Olympic Games and the Youth Olympic Games when she claimed the women’s individual title at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

RUBEN PADILLA

USA
Trampoline

At the 2022 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships, Ruben won a gold medal in the men’s double mini, a silver medal in the all-around team and a bronze medal in the double mini team event.

BRONWYN DIBB

At the 2022 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships, Bronwyn won the women’s Double Mini Trampoline event.

SHANICE DAVIDSON

Tumbling

Shanice has been a member of the GB Tumbling Squad since 2011. She won the Senior World Silver Medallist 2018 and was part of the women’s tumbling team that won gold at the 2022 World Championships.

Having recently won Gold at the Asian Games, Yan will be looking to claim top spot in Birmingham.

But of course, it’s not just these incredible athletes that will be heading to Birmingham! Over 1,000 gymnasts from over 40 countries will compete across eight days of thrilling competition between 9-19th November. So, why not join them?
