
Birmingham is set to host the first ever Junior World Championships as part of the FIG World Trampoline Championships (WTGC2023) this November.
The Junior World Championships will take place on Sunday 19th November, and will see boys and girls from around the world compete in events including Trampoline, Synchronised Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline.
This is an exciting opportunity for fans to see the next generation of World and Olympic champions in action.
Championship Director, Dom Elsom shared his excitement about the event saying;
“We are honoured to be hosting the first edition of the Junior World Championships and giving fans the opportunity to see the next generation of World and Olympic champions in action. The energy and talent of the junior athletes will leave you in awe, and the arena will be buzzing with excitement as we witness the top gymnasts in the world do what they do best.”
The Championships will be held at the Utilita Arena Birmingham, which is a state-of-the-art venue that has hosted many major sporting events in the past.
Qualifying from the World Age Group Competitions (16-19 November), the Junior World Championships will be open to boys and girls aged 13 – 16, making the event a great opportunity for young gymnasts to showcase their skills on the world stage.
