Birmingham Airport Unveiled as Official Sponsor of the FIG World Trampoline Championships 2023

The organisers of the FIG World Trampoline Gymnastics Championships 2023 are delighted to announce Birmingham Airport (BHX) as an official sponsor of the upcoming international sporting event taking place in Birmingham, UK, between 9th and 19th November.

Over 1,000 gymnasts from over 40 countries are expected to compete across eight days of thrilling competition, at this primary qualification event for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The partnership will see Birmingham Airport’s expert team support the smooth arrival and departure of the international teams who will be travelling to the city, ensuring all receive a warm Birmingham welcome.

Birmingham Airport is the seventh largest in the UK. Over 30 airlines fly more than 12 million customers a year to more than 140 direct routes worldwide. In the years to 2033, BHX plans to grow its annual customer numbers to 18 million all while becoming a net zero carbon operation. During an exciting period of growth and improved connectivity, the sponsorship of the FIG World Trampoline Championships 2023 firmly reinforces Birmingham as a truly global airport.
