
Today marks 6 months to go until the start of WTGC2023, so to celebrate, we have created a list of 6 reasons to start getting excited.
Reason 1: The Sport
The world championships bring together the best athletes from across the globe, so expect the competition to be of the highest levels.
The discipline of Trampoline Gymnastics has four different categories that will be on show. They are, Individual Trampoline, Synchronised Trampoline, Double Mini-Trampoline and Tumbling.

Reason 2: The world’s best athletes are coming
Over 1,000 gymnasts from over 40 countries will compete across eight days of thrilling competition.
Whilst the athletes representing each team have not been announced yet, the home nation, Great Britain, will be hoping the local crowds’ incredible support will give them a winning edge.
Reason 3: Great value ticket prices
Tickets start from £20 for adults and £10 for children under 16’s and concessions. That means you can see an entire session filled with incredible sporting action for a great price.
Weekend tickets will also be available, as well as special group tickets from just £8.50!
Reason 4: It’s a great event for first timers
Trampoline gymnasts perform incredible feats of athleticism, like somersaults and twists, that are hugely impressive to see live, with athletes reaching up to 10 meters. It is a visually stunning and high-energy sport that is captivating for people who have never seen it before.
Reason 5: It’s right in the heart of Birmingham
The 37th edition of the FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships is taking place at the Utilita Arena, a stone’s throw away from the main attractions of Birmingham.
Outside of watching the world’s best at WTGC2023, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants are nearby. For the night owls, Birmingham’s famous Broad Street, filled with bars and clubs, is right on the arena’s doorstep if you want to celebrate a great performance from your favourite team or athlete.
Reason 6: The World Age Group Competitions
The World Age Group Competitions form part of WTGC2023 and offer a jam-packed schedule of sporting action, where athletes within each of the “Age Group” categories (11-12, 13-14, 15-16 & 17-21years) will take to the apparatus in an attempt to win world titles.
This event takes place between 16th and 19th of November and is not to be missed if you want to see the next generation of World and Olympic Champions in action.
